The Steven Retterath, Jason Retterath and James Robertson ownership team established the company in the state of Florida in June 2006. Court documents indicate that the ownership breakdown at United Crane & Rigging is the same as that for Hunter Crane and Merchant Transport.

The company has a headquarters address at the same location as General Crane USA in Pompano Beach, Florida but also operated out of General Crane USA’s Fairburn, Georgia crane yard as well. United Crane & Rigging registered as a business entity with the Georgia Secretary of State in August 2007.
