Jeffrey Soffer Lawsuit against Jim Robertson

Real estate developer Jeffrey Soffer, a 50% owner of Republic, is suing fellow partners, including Jim Robertson of General Crane, alleging millions of dollars in missing funds and improper transfers of company cash and equipment.

**Note: on 3-4-2009, judge ordered a “Writ of Possession” granting Alimak the right to repossess collateral used in its loan to Republic. The case was settled on 4-20-2009 after Alimak sold its interest in the loan to Republic to Winfield Corporation, based in West Newbury, MA on 3-31-2009. Ten (10) days later Winfield sold its interest in the Republic loan to Pentucket Bank, based in Haverhill, MA.
